Dreaming in colour This rose has been named after the patchwork artist Kaffe Fassett. He designs true color fireworks and his colorful quilts are unique. Kaffe Fassett also creates mosaics, knitting patterns, fabrics of vivid colors and much else. (Rosen Tantau 2001) A very special variety! Medium-sized, intensively crimson-purple flowers,with the colour turning lighter towards the centre. The colour can change to a blackish crimson in cold weather. Very strong rose fragrance. Very full, quartered flowers. They are similar to old, nostalgic roses. The Nostalgic®Gräfin von Hardenberg® shrub rose forms loose branches with long trailing shoots. We recommend a good rose location (full sun) for this variety.
(Rosen Tantau 2013) One of our first selections for the Starlet Beauty® Roses programme. Its flowering habit is similar to that of a rambling rose but it grows low and compact to a maximum height of 200 cm. The colour of the flower can be described as a bright cherry-red through to a magenta-red. An outstanding feature is the strong and sweet rose fragrance that can be smelled from afar.The flowers appear in large clusters and clean themselves very well. The dark, very glossy foliage is healthy and strong. The shooting tendrils can be very easily bent.
