(Rosen Tantau 1968) Dark red, large flowers appear on long stems. Very elegant, long buds become large, well-filled flowers. Very well-known and proven variety.

(Rosen Tantau 1990) Similar to a hybrid tea rose, fully double flowers with brilliant blooms in a Bordeaux red. The rich colour is pretty much exactly the colour of a glass of Lübecker Rotspon®. The large, luxuriant, dark-green foliage is very striking. This oribunda rose has a medium-height and a bushy growth habit. A well growing, interesting variety that produces an abundance of flowers.

(Rosen Tantau 2007) Rich red Nostalgic® hybrid tea rose with a special flair. The large flowers are a brilliant shade of red. Their shape starts off globular before turning cup-shaped with the popular nostalgic double flowers. The flowers appear individually or in small clusters. The dark reddish-green, very glossy foliage is exceptionally healthy, the long-stemmed flowers are particularly well suited for cut flowers. Piano® has a very long flowering period, right into autumn.

What rose could be more worthy of a world-famous star conductor as a godparent than a crimson, stately climbing rose? Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Artistic Director of the Metropolitan Opera in New York, christened his favorite rose in a ceremony in Baden-Baden in the summer of 2025. The numerous centers of the nostalgically filled petals reminded him of the musicians in his orchestra. A very beautiful picture, we think! Maestro has glossy, healthy foliage and will also bloom vigorously in the harsh climate of Yannick Nézet-Séguin's native Canada.

(Rosen Tantau 2017) This classic hybrid tea rose impresses with its very many dazzling red, extremely long-lasting flowers, which also offer an abundant second flush. This makes them particularly well suited as cut flowers for a vase. This variety is compact in growth with a lot of shoots, making it perfect for containers.

(Rosen Tantau 2016)  It was named after the legendary pirate. A very full, double-flowered floriferous hybrid tea rose, whose light-red blooms radiate from afar. The continuous crop will provide you with cut flowers over the entire summer. Störtebeker® has a pleasant fragrance and was even awarded a prize in the Fragrant Roses Competition in Echigo/Japan. The extremely dense, compact growth looks very attractive both in a garden bed.

(Rosen Tantau 2000) A very compact and bushy small shrub rose. An exceptionally healthy and vigorous rose variety. The fresh green foliage is glossy and long-lasting.

(Rosen Tantau 2020) A modern floribunda rose takes the stage in a brilliant red dress. It plays its role perfectly planted as an ensemble in the garden, as the star in a bed of perennials or in tubs or even for floristry. Its very full double flowers, the colour and its good health put on a wonderful combination.

(Rosen Tantau 2021) Arifa® is a very profusely flowering bedding rose. The rose is healthy and hardy.

(Rosen Tantau 2021) Pepino® is a dark-red floribunda rose. Its luxuriant flush and cushiony and compact growth make it ideal for maintaining a densely flowering effect in planting beds. (Rosen Tantau 1985)  Fire-red climbing rose with large flowers and a lot of flair. The variety branches out very well from underneath. It is thus possible to avoid bare patches in the field of vision. The large buds flower into fully double, brilliant blood-red blooms. Lush, leather-like foliation. Definitely one of the best red climbing roses in Europe. It looks very lovely on walls for privacy screening, support trellises and rose arches.

(Rosen Tantau 2018)  Natalie joins these enchanting climbing roses in a bright carmine red. Like all Starlet Beauty® roses, Natalie grows lush and dense and presents an abundance of wonderful, fully double flowers.

(Rosen Tantau 2009) This large-flowered, strongly fragranced hybrid tea rose was ceremoniously christened in the Uetersen monastery garden in 2009, Goethe’s anniversary year. The large crimson-violet flowers do justice to the name with a full hybrid tea rose fragrance. The foliation is striped green-blue and exceptionally robust. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe roses are very well suited as cut flowers.

(Rosen Tantau 2007) Dense and low, compact-growing Hybrid Tea rose with ball-shaped, nostalgically double flowers. The slowly opening violet-purple blooms have a beautiful scent of precious rose.  

(Rosen Tantau 2012)  The crimson, cup-shaped flowers of this Nostalgic® hybrid tea rose appear on medium-length stalks with 3-5 side buds. It has a lovely, very intensive fragrance with an oriental note.  This variety is also very good as cut flowers.
