Lilac Topaz®

(Rosen Tantau 1964) A hybrid tea rose, renowned worldwide, with a unique combination of colour and fragrance. The large, elegant flowers appear right into the autumn with their well-known silvery lilac colour. Fresh, light-green foliage.

(Rosen Tantau 2019)  Pacific Blue® convinces with its outstanding intense fragrance and its unique lilac-blue flower colour. The colour is similar to our classic Mainzer Fassnacht® from 1964. This modern noble rose grows particularly densely bushy and blooms enormously richly. Also as a cut rose, Pacific Blue® is exceptionally productive with its noble flowers.

(Rosen Tantau 2013) An extraordinary Starlet Beauty® rose in every respect. The plants produce an abundance of shoots and are densely bushy, the foliage is light-green and extremely resistant to fungal attacks. Melina repeat flowers all summer long in medium-sized clusters with 3-6 individual blooms. Fully double-flowered blooms that start off violet and later turn light-blue with a very strong, sweet and fruity fragrance. The flowers are very long lasting.

(Rosen Tantau 2006) This rose combines a very compact growth habit with flowers similar to a hybrid tea rose with very full double flowers, the colour of violets. A floriferous rose with an intensive fragrance and medium-green, abdundant foliage. An excellent varity for fans of the unique.   

(Rosen Tantau 2012) Lavender Ice® belongs to the compact and low growing roses but is a very large-flowered hybrid. In terms of the flower size and how floriferous it is, it can rather be classified as a floribunda rose. Lavender Ice® grows low and bushy with very full bloom clusters that hold around 3-6 individual flowers.The individual flowers should be deadheaded to improve the next flush. The silvery lavender coloured flowers have a light fragrance.The leafs are large and light-green. A variety for good rose locations and particularly suited tubs in sunny places.  

(Rosen Tantau 2018) This purple bedding rose expels generously its fragrance of fresh limes. It grows easily in pots and in beds likewise.  Dreaming in colour This rose has been named after the patchwork artist Kaffe Fassett. He designs true color fireworks and his colorful quilts are unique. Kaffe Fassett also creates mosaics, knitting patterns, fabrics of vivid colors and much else. Manhattan Blue® is a descendant of the richly flowering rambler rose Perennial Blue, which has been a classic in our range for many years. The open flowers provide easy access to the pollen for bees and other insects.

(Rosen Tantau 2015) The cool, light lilac-blue flowers of Saphir® provide a unique display in the rose garden. Its slightly transparent petals are reminiscent of fine bone china. Saphir® flowersexpel a mild, very pleasant rose fragrance. During prolonged dry spells protection against mildew may be required. (Rosen Tantau 2020)  The name Djamila means the beauty and this rose is richly deserving of its name. It is the darkest of our Orienta® roses and particularly popular with its blackberry shade of colour.
