What rose could be more worthy of a world-famous star conductor as a godparent than a crimson, stately climbing rose? Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Artistic Director of the Metropolitan Opera in New York, christened his favorite rose in a ceremony in Baden-Baden in the summer of 2025. The numerous centers of the nostalgically filled petals reminded him of the musicians in his orchestra. A very beautiful picture, we think!

Maestro has glossy, healthy foliage and will also bloom vigorously in the harsh climate of Yannick Nézet-Séguin's native Canada.
