The flowers of our Friedenslicht® open in a warm apricot-cream color that turns white when they bloom. They have a pleasant, light fragrance. The shoots do not grow too tightly upright, but arch overhanging

(Rosen Tantau 2001) A robustly growing shrub rose with large, semi-double, yellow flowers. Extremely robust and healthy variety. Medium green, very glossy foliage.

(Rosen Tantau 2001) A very special variety! Medium-sized, intensively crimson-purple flowers,with the colour turning lighter towards the centre. The colour can change to a blackish crimson in cold weather. Very strong rose fragrance. Very full, quartered flowers. They are similar to old, nostalgic roses. The Nostalgic®Gräfin von Hardenberg® shrub rose forms loose branches with long trailing shoots. We recommend a good rose location (full sun) for this variety.

(Rosen Tantau 2010) Very healthy, classic shrub rose with double, long-lasting blooms. The foliage is very dark, very glossy and exceptionally resistant to pests. Arabia® flowers slightly later than other varieties.

(Rosen Tantau 2014) A royal beauty of the nostalgic shrub roses. Enchanting flowers with a scent reminiscent of old roses set crimson-purple accents in romantic gardens. This variety is very bushy, produces an abundance of shoots and is particularly resistant to fungal diseases. Very well suited for rose hedges and the back of borders. It can also be cultivated as a climbing rose in regions with favourable conditions.

(Rosen Tantau 2020) Has an extremely long-lasting flowering habit and the golden-yellow blooms are reminiscent of the colors of the Serengeti. Its flower shape is elegant, its bloom as rich as that of a bedding rose and its growth as dense and bushy as that of an upright shrub rose.

(Rosen Tantau 1984) Strongly growing, bright blood-red shrub rose. Beautifully double flowers, with the stamens clearly visible. Lush foliage and abundant blooms from the ground.

(Rosen Tantau 1962) Semi-double, very color-fast flowers. The unchanging color of this shrub rose is always a fiery orange. Continuously flowering throughout the summer until frost.

(Rosen Tantau 2010) An initially upright, later overhanging shrub rose with aquamarine-pink flowers that bloom profusely and repeatedly. The strong foliage is light green and healthy. With the international project “Soroptimists go for water”, the organization supports and promotes water projects of the German Union, such as “Water for Africa”.

(Rosen Tantau 2018)  The moon has risen, the golden stars shine in the sky, brightly and clearly, just like the flowers of this romantic and resistant shrub rose, which bring the sensitive rhymes of the poet Matthias Claudius back to mind. (Roses Tantau 2021)  She is an offspring of our highly decorated Camelot®. Its health, bloom and characteristic sprinkles are a reminder of her mother variety. For those who find the growth of Camelot® too untameable Lancelot® provides all the qualities in the form of a compact shrub rose.  

(Rosen Tantau 2020)  Thanks to its cheerful play of colours, Orienta® Laila has a light and summery appearance. It is perfect for taller perennial beds in cottage gardens, but also puts on a wonderful show planted as a rose hedge.

(Rosen Tantau 2020)  It is hardy and healthy with a vigorous growth habit, flowers abundantly and also has a wonderful fragrance. (Rosen Tantau 2011) A very floriferous, dense, bushy variety with bright velvety red semi-double flowers. Ideal for planting in larger beds.

(Rosen Tantau 1993) This is one of our strongest shrub rose variety, forms very dense and well branched bush with soft pink, double flowers. Can be used for mass plantation in public areas. It reaches a height of 1,20 - 1,50 m.  

(Rosen Tantau 1996) Very sturdy and early flowering shrub with intense golden yellow flowers with a reddish hue on the outer petals, unfading and are long lasting. It repeats quickly and has bright green, glossy and disease resistant foliage.

(Rosen Tantau 2015) The cool, light lilac-blue flowers of Saphir® provide a unique display in the rose garden. Its slightly transparent petals are reminiscent of fine bone china. Saphir® flowersexpel a mild, very pleasant rose fragrance. During prolonged dry spells protection against mildew may be required. Saphir® has an upright habit and is likely to be popular with rosarians.

(Rosen Tantau 2024) Cheerful, colourful flowers decorate the arching shoots of our Tucan®. Planted as a solitary plant, it attracts attention with its size and growth habit and caresses us with its pleasant, light fragrance. Planted together with blue-flowering perennials, the result is an exciting sight. Its strong foliage has a beautiful dark lustre. It has a high resistance to fungal diseases.
