(Rosen Tantau 1980) The buds, which are similar to hybrid tea roses, bloom into exceptionally large, fully double flowers in a wonderfully brilliant pure pink. They hold their colour well. Lush foliation. This climbing rose produces vigorous shoots, thus ensuring continuous flowering. The flowers are exceptionally weather resistant.

What rose could be more worthy of a world-famous star conductor as a godparent than a crimson, stately climbing rose? Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Artistic Director of the Metropolitan Opera in New York, christened his favorite rose in a ceremony in Baden-Baden in the summer of 2025. The numerous centers of the nostalgically filled petals reminded him of the musicians in his orchestra. A very beautiful picture, we think! Maestro has glossy, healthy foliage and will also bloom vigorously in the harsh climate of Yannick Nézet-Séguin's native Canada.

(Rosen Tantau 2013) One of our first selections for the Starlet Beauty® Roses programme. Its flowering habit is similar to that of a rambling rose but it grows low and compact to a maximum height of 200 cm. The colour of the flower can be described as a bright cherry-red through to a magenta-red. An outstanding feature is the strong and sweet rose fragrance that can be smelled from afar.The flowers appear in large clusters and clean themselves very well. The dark, very glossy foliage is healthy and strong. The shooting tendrils can be very easily bent.  

Rosen Tantau 2016) Libertas® is a pink variant of our Perennial Blue and Perennial Blush. Its flexible shoots are perfect for training up a trellis or rose arch. Libertas® can thus grow into a fairy-tale sleeping beauty rose, with a profusion of delicate flowers. The ADR certfication mark, the Zweibrücken City Honorary Award and the silver medal were all awarded because of its excellent health.

(Rosen Tantau 1999) Medium-sized, ball-shaped flowers in a soft apricot-yellow shade that can also change to pink. The flowers are extremely rain-resistant. Wonderfully glossy, dark green foliage.

(Rosen Tantau 2022) Delights with the delicate charm of its flowers and a beguiling fragrance. The ADR seal of approval also proves its particularly good health.

(Rosen Tantau 2010). Dukat® is a rich-flowering and large-flowered climbing rose. It first blooms dark yellow, fading when open. The flowers are loosely double and have a sweet, fruity fragrance.

(Rosen Tantau 1966) Large flowers, which are fully double and golden yellow, bloom in abundance all summer long. The good branching habit of this climbing rose and its healthy new shooting ensure long-lasting flowering pleasure. Goldstern® is very winter hardy and robust.

(Eurosa breeder / Rosen Tantau 2009)This repeat flowering rambler produces large, conical shaped clusters of white flowers with a pink hue in late spring and, if dead headed after the first flash, again in the autumn and a few in between. Foliage is medium green, glossy and has shown an excellent resistance to fungal diseases. Basal shoots are supple and can be easily trained horizontally on trellises, pillars, arches and gazebos.  Flowers are produced both on new shoots and side shoots on older wood. Once established it can provide a dense flowering thicket. This variety reaches a height of approx. 2.5-3.0m.

(Rosen Tantau 2020) These perennials have the look of our rambler climbing roses. However, theirsoft pink-coloured panicles are even more abundant and their growth even stronger. The strong branching of the shoots offer dense privacy screening on fences and around cosy seating areas. You can enjoy the sweet fragrance of these roses there.

(EUROSA  breeder / Rosen Tantau 2007) A perennial rambler rose with large clusters of flowers, starting off purplepink and fading to a violet-blue. Its foliage is small, glossy and very hardy. Perennial Blue starts to flower already on shorter new shoots around 1 m long and on side shoots of older branches. This allows it to achieve an abundant and lush play of colours. The flexible shoots are easy to bend and can be trained into a broad, branched plant structure. Perennial Blue is particularly well suited for trellises, arches and also pillars. We recommend a good summer cutback after the first flush. 

(Rosen Tantau 2021) Perennial Domino® blooms continuously in large magenta-red flower clusters. It grows into an impenetrable wall or a compact flower pillar. The novelty competition of Baden-Baden is one of the most prestigious rose trials in the world. After three years of bonits by several juries, Perennial Domino® received the Honorary Award of the German Rose Society, the Gold Medal in the category of Climbing Roses and even as the first climbing rose in history the highest award of the competition: The Golden Rose of Baden-Baden 2020.

(Rosen Tantau 2024) The numerous flowers look like a blue curtain of blossom at dusk during the ‘blue hour’. With this successful novelty, we are expanding our rambler range with another variety. This pink-violet-flowering rambler can be beautifully trained over rose arches and along fences, transforming seating areas and pergolas into enchanted places. A robust and vigorous variety that flowers in rich sprays. Manhattan Blue® is a descendant of the richly flowering rambler rose Perennial Blue, which has been a classic in our range for many years.

(Rosen Tantau 2019) Naranga® bestows on us a long-awaited colour among climbing roses: The brilliant copper-orange of the attractively fully double flowers are enhanced by an aromatic fragrance. Naranga® combines particularly harmoniously with shades of red and yellow in the garden. Its foliage is dark-green and wonderfully glossy.

(Rosen Tantau 1987) Huge, elegant and fully double white flowers adorn this special climbing rose. The large, dark-green leaf is very decorative. The plant forms strong basal shoots, branches out well and reaches the growth of a bushy climbing rose from the second year of planting. Schneewalzer® is definitely the white climbing rose whose shape, size and flair most closely resembles that of the large-flowered hybrid tea roses.

(Rosen Tantau 1985)  Fire-red climbing rose with large flowers and a lot of flair. The variety branches out very well from underneath. It is thus possible to avoid bare patches in the field of vision. The large buds flower into fully double, brilliant blood-red blooms. Lush, leather-like foliation. Definitely one of the best red climbing roses in Europe. It looks very lovely on walls for privacy screening, support trellises and rose arches.

(Rosen Tantau 1999) Extremely strong and vigorously growing climbing rose in an intensive pink. Shogun® charms with is elegant, fully double flowers. This variety is very healthy and resistant to rain.

(Rosen Tantau 2006) A climbing rose that shoots very well and whose ball-shaped flower cup is reminiscent of the famous “Raubritter” rambler. Whereby the Uetersener Klosterrose produces a good second flush of flowers. The cream-coloured flowers open to reveal their yellow stamen, yet the overall impression is romantic and delicate. The sweet wild-rose fragrance is definitely not overpowering but rather pleasantly mild. The climbing rose is extremely healthy with a vigorous growth habit. We recommend the annual shoots be bent horizontally for best flowering performance.

(Rosen Tantau 2013) Luxuriantly flowering and strong growing miniature climber rose. All summer long, Eva produces new basal shoots and short shoots on which uniformly light-pink coloured flowers appear. The flowers appear in small clusters. The individual flower is quartered, forms a wonderful pompon shape and is very long lasting. The strong, medium-sized foliage is dark-green but reddish as a new shoot and very glossy. Very dense plant structure.

(Rosen Tantau 2011) Climbing rose Camelot® is extraordinarily vigorous. Outstanding leaf health with extreme resistance to powdery mildew and mildew. The medium-sized flowers appear pink with dark pink markings on the petals.  The flowers are loosely double and self-cleaning. Light citrus fragrance!
