Starlet Beauty® Carmen
(Rosen Tantau 2013) A very colourful and rather compact Starlet Beauty® rose with upright growth. The bright yellow-orange play of colours conjures up Mediterranean flair in gardens and on terraces. The flowers are relatively large, very fully double and long lasting. Carmen grows vigorously and produces strong basal shoots to form large plants. The foliage is mid-green and very glossy.

All summer long, Eva produces new basal shoots and short shoots on which uniformly light-pink coloured flowers appear. The flowers appear in small clusters. The individual flower is quartered, forms a wonderful pompon shape and is very long lasting. The strong, medium-sized foliage is dark-green but reddish as a new shoot and very glossy. Its flowering habit is similar to that of a rambling rose but it grows low and compact to a maximum height of 200 cm. The colour of the flower can be described as a bright cherry-red through to a magenta-red. An outstanding feature is the strong and sweet rose fragrance that can be smelled from afar.The flowers appear in large clusters and clean themselves very well. The dark, very glossy foliage is healthy and strong. The shooting tendrils can be very easily bent.

The plants produce an abundance of shoots and are densely bushy, the foliage is light-green and extremely resistant to fungal attacks. Melina repeat flowers all summer long in medium-sized clusters with 3-6 individual blooms. Fully double-flowered blooms that start off violet and later turn light-blue with a very strong, sweet and fruity fragrance. The flowers are very long lasting.
