Outdoor cutroses
For more than 20 years Rosen Tantau has been selecting special outdoor cut roses for planting in professional cut rose nurseries. Some of these varieties are excellent for planting in the private garden. Garden cut roses produce beautiful mostly large-flowered flowers throughout the summer, willingly sprouting, of which many varieties are particularly fragrant and hold very well in the vase.
Roses say more than a thousand words
With a self-tied bouquet of roses you can delight the recipient and sometimes even open hearts. There are no limits to your personal creativity when it comes to binding. You can use our cut garden roses for self-made bouquets, arrangements and wreaths and thus bring a summery flair into your home. Not only noble roses with their elegant flowers and long stems are suitable for this, but also multi-flowered floribunda roses, shrub roses and the double Nostalgie® roses. Many of our outdoor cut roses are even fragrant. In combination with colorful garden flowers and the incredible variety of colors and flower shapes of garden roses, small individual floristic works of art can be created within a short time. Not only that, they also impress with their grace as soloists in a tall, narrow vessel.
How and where do I plant outdoor cutroses?
The basic requirement for the continuous formation of flower shoots in our fast-growing varieties is a good, full-sun rose location and good plant nutrition. Plant strengtheners such as broths or Vitanal help with this. You can find detailed care and planting instructions in our Advice and Information section. Our outdoor cut roses are available as bare-root rose plants from October to the end of April and as potted roses from May to the end of September.
