J. W. von Goethe Rose

(Rosen Tantau 2009) A very fragrant large flowered variety, burgundy red in colour. Initial spiral buds, carried singly or in small clusters carried on stout stems, open to very full flowers. Vase life is excellent making this variety suitable for cutting. Foliage is dark green, leathery, with a lighter reverse. ‘Goethe Rose ‘is suitable for planting in containers, bedding and in mixed planting.
